THE BOUDIN FOOD TRUCK

It really is that damnn good!

Started with a Dollar and a dream!

To answer the million dollar question, no we are not from Louisiana, but that doesn’t change our love for boudin! As a kid we took trips from Dallas to Houston and the trip wasn’t complete until we got our fix of boudin, boudin balls to eat while we were there and links to take home. Fast forward, I attended the University of Houston for my bachelors degree. The entire time in school I was unsure of what I wanted to do, but while figuring it out I ate boudin at every restaurant that served boudin. I began to make my own boudin eggs roll and family friends requested them every chance they got. During covid, my last semester at UH, I got the brilliant idea of creating a boudin only business. Safe to say the rest is history. Boudamnn was officially introduced August 2020. It started with taking preorders to later setting up under a tent with a portable propane fryer. Our food trailer opened for business June 2020.

FAQ

Boudin (pronounced BOO-dan) traditionally is a cooked sausage stuffed with with pork, rice, holy trinity vegetables and seasonings in a pork casing. At Boudamnn we skip the sausage casing and just use the rice mixture.

Our boudin is pretty mild so that everyone can enjoy, it may be “spicy” to someone with a low tolerance to spicy but we don’t receive complaints about the spice

nope! we offer seafood boudin which includes crawfish and shrimp, we also have meatless boudin which includes chickpeas, zucchini, mushrooms, and of course the holy trinity.

We do not have set hours and move around quite a bit, the best way to find us is to check for our weekly schedule updated every Tuesday.

Yes! Here’s the link to order catering.
